Standard replacement precision ground upgraded material standard diff pin. Recommended for all standard differential rebuilds. For performance, useC-BTA164moly coated pin with standard planet gears. Pay special attention to the condition of the planet wheels when rebuiling as they cause most of the damage to the pin especially when used under arduous conditions. Specially bushed planet wheels are available asDAM6624BUSHEDor in a kit with the pin asC-BTA167. In severe conditions where the planet gears appear to break or severely wear the pin a special molybdenum coated pin is available asC-BTA164but this molybdenum pin must not use bushed type planet gears.
