KAD MINI & MOKE REAR DISC CONVERSION KIT- Black [KAD1012070-BLK]

This has been developed as a lightweight alternative to drum brakes. The rear disc brake conversion combines hydraulic operation for the foot brake with an effective mechanical handbrake allowing discs to be fitted to both road legal and competition cars.

The calipers are a single piston sliding type, fully dust sealed and machined from billet aluminum. The hubs, carrying a lightweight steel drilled disc are CNC machined from billet aluminum and accept standard Mini taper wheel bearings.

The kits are supplied complete with all of the parts to convert from drum to disc brake and use the standard handbrake cables. The kit will fit under 10″ wheels and has been designed with both road and competition usage in mind.

Weighing in at 2.8kg it is substantially lighter than any alloy drum combination.
