In its lowest position, the nominal height of the 5 carving platen is approximately 9 inches, with a full height of 12-3/4 inches. It has the capability to tilt or angle as needed and can rotate 360 degrees. It features 16 pre-drilled mounting holes and is removable, revealing a 1-inch by 8 TPI thread for attaching a turning chuck.
